Your server is a highly complicated system of interdependent processes configured to offer simple, reliable, secure and high performance data and network services to your organization. When kept wellmaintained, Linux systems are a true marvel of engineering. And always remember there is a very large community out there with a wealth of information freely available, at all levels of understanding. Logging Into the Server, The server can be accessed for interactive login via the physical system console or from any computer on the networks by using SSH (Secure Shell). Adding a User: should start with letters and not contain any special characters other than numbers. This will be their login ID and the first part of their email address at your domain. Deleting a User: Just specify the user ID to be deleted. If you would also like to remove all of their email and any files
stored in their home directories, add the ‘r’ switch: Enabling or Disabling Shell Access for a User, Changing a User Password, Adding a User for Windows File Sharing Access. Deleting a User from Windows File Sharing Access. Updating the Server’s OS and Applications. Shutting the Server Down.

The purpose of this tutorial is to give you a sense of “what it is like” to build an ASP.NET MVC application. In this tutorial, I blast through building an entire ASP.NET MVC application from start to finish. I show you how to build a simple Tasklist application. Because the goal is to keep things simple, we’ll be building a very simple Tasklist application. Our simple Tasklist application will allow us to do three things: List a set of task, Create new tasks, Mark a task as completed. Creating an ASP.NET MVC Web Application Project. An ASP.NET MVC application has a standard set of folders: a Models, Views, and Controllers folder. You can see this standard set of folders in the Solution Explorer window. We’ll need to add files to the Models, Views, and Controllers folders to build our TaskList application. Creating the Controller Typically, when building an ASP.NET MVC application, you’ll start by building a controller. Each browser request made against an ASP.NET MVC application is handled by a controller. A controller contains the application logic that is responsible for responding to a request. Creating the Views A view contains the HTML markup and content that is sent to the browser. A view is the closest thing to a page in an ASP.NET MVC application. You create a view by creating a file with the extension .aspx. Creating the Database The next step is to create the database that will contain our tasks. You can create the database by right-clicking the App_Data folder and selecting the menu option Add, New Item. Select the SQL Server Database template item, name the database TaskListDB.mdf, and click the Add button.

This series of lessons for science and mathematics classes (grades 3-12) looks at the planets in our solar system in a variety of different ways, beginning with astronomical modeling of orbits and sizes, then geologic modeling of planetary interiors, and concluding with biological evaluation of what makes planets livable by various creatures. Here you’ll learn about: Modeling Orbits in the Solar System. This lesson models the orbital distances between the planets and shows that the solar system is mostly empty space. Modeling Sizes of Planets. This lesson compares the relative sizes of the planets to those of familiar fruits and vegetables. It also uses size to calculate density and planet composition. Looking Inside Planets. This lesson involves modeling the interior structures of the planets and shows that the solid cores of the gas giants are similar in size to the Earth or Venus. Search for A Habitable Planet. This lesson looks at the characteristics of planets that make them livable, their temperature, and compositions of atmosphere and surface instead of size or orbit. Procedure: Teacher preparation: Collect materials and prepare 40-50 m knotted string for measuring. Select a location to lay out your solar system. This can be a hallway, gym or athletic field, but for the 1 m scale needs to be 40 m long (approximately 40 yards). Classroom Procedure: 1) Look at the list of diameters of planets and other planetary bodies, notice the size relationships. Which is the largest planet? Which is the smallest? Are some planets close to the same size?

In recent years, the metal carbonyls are increasingly used in organic synthesis. Many transition elements form stable neutral metal carbonyls, anionic metal carbonyls, hydrido metal carbonyls, and their derivatives1–4. These derivatives display unique reactivities in oxidation, reduction, isomerization, oligomerization, carbonylation and polymerization processes5,6. They have been also used extensively in C–C bond formation reactions7,8.Methods of preparation of Na2Fe(CO)4. The super nucleophile Na2Fe(CO)4 (Collman reagent) has been demonstrated to be a versatile reagent in several organic transformations10. Numerous methods have been reported for the preparation of this reagent from readily available starting materials10–13. Reaction of NaRCO[Fe(CO)4] with CuCl. The acylmetals such as ‘RCOCu’ are one of the most sought after intermediates in organometallic chemistry. It was anticipated that the use of CuCl in the place of H+ (Scheme 1) could lead to the formation of ‘RCOCu’. However, it was observed that the reaction of NaRCO [Fe(CO)4] with CuCl gives the corresponding 1,2-diketones (70–90%)15. This transformation is a general one and several alkyl bromides are converted into the corresponding 1,2-diketones (eq. 2).
