It is based on over fourteen years experience experimenting and improving the technology. It is designed to provide the environmental scientist/engineer with a basic understanding of horizontal drilling and horizontal remediation technology. It should help the scientist/engineer determine whether or not horizontal wells are appropriate for a given problem, and help him/her design a drilling program to achieve their goals.
