Maya will be the best structure analysis software for architects and designers. Strict programs for structure design are difficult to input objects. Even thought it is fine to import 3D model from other CAD programs, it might be happened the imported model is not availability of editing form. It is hassle to feed back into 3D modeling, designing and presentation. Architects and designers want to design with cut and try more quickly on the desk before accurate work with structure designers. To plug-in CS-FEM on Maya®, it will be the most simple program for analyzing structure. To find solution by CS-FEM and adjust object over and over can be done on one program visually. Run your Maya after restart. Go to “Window” – “Settings/preferences” – “Plug-in Manager. Select fem.mll “loaded”. You can also select “auto load”. Then click close, Type “fem” on command line at the left below of Maya window, Objects that can be analyzed have to be created by polygon primitives, polygon surfaces and any other polygon objects. Analysis procedure is exactly simple. You just select an object, define condition of constraint, material of members, and load of points. You can find a result of the object’s structural characteristic. CS-FEM shows stress distribution and displacement of object. Stress distribution shows by colored NURBS flames. Displacement of object shows by polygon object. You can apply CS-FEM to the displaced object and original object again.
