The BMW M73 Engine is a V12 piston engine featured fracture-split forged steel connecting rood and used 2-valve SOHC heads, the M73 engine was built in Munich, Germany. The M73 will replace the M70 and be installed in the E38 750iL and the E31 850 Ci. In both of these vehicle the 12 cylinder will only be available mated to the A5S 560Z 5 speed automatic transmission currently found in the 8, 7 and 5 series vehicle with the 4.0 liter M60 engine.
