Mitsubishi motors introduced 4G9 engine in August 1996, its a series of straight 4 automobile engine with 16-valve, and use both single- and double- overhead camshaft heads. This workshop manual contains procedures for removal, disassembly, inspection, adjustment, reassembly and installation etc. This manual divided into several section as follows: Specifications, special tools, ignition system, drive belt and timing belt, fuel and emission control system, intake manifold and water pump, exhaust manifold, turbo charger, rocker arms and camshaft, cylinder head and valves, front case and oil pump, piston and connecting rod, crankshaft, cylinder block, flywheel and drive plate.
