Please read this thoroughly and fully understand this instruction manual. Please have a factory service manual on hand. Refer to service manual for any addition procedures not provided in this instruction manual. Please tighten the nuts/bolts securely with a suitable tool. Please do not over-tighten the bolts. Over-tightening the bolts may result in damage to the bolts, to the unit itself, and cause operating malfunctions. Discharge fuel system pressure caution: Before removing any fuel system parts, take precautions to prevent gasoline spillage. As some pressure remains in the fule line even after taking precautions to prevent gasoline spillage, use a shop rag or piece of cloth to prevent gasoline splashes when disconnecting the fuel line. Remove the rear seat cushion, Remove the rear seat assembly, Disconnect the connector from the fuel pump assembly, start the engine. After the engine stops naturally turn the ignition switch off hint. Removal of OEM/factory parts. Remove the engine cover, remove the factory air cleaner hose, remove the 2 bolts connecting engine harness to intake manifold. Remove brackets from engine harness. Remove alternator harness, Remove strap +12V terminal, and the connector plug. Loosen adjustemnt bolt, remove alternator bely, remove nut, bolt, and alternator bracket as illustrated. Remove bolt under the Alternator. Remove bolt as illustrated. Remove the alternator bracket as shown in the illustration.
