
This document will guide you to change the headlight bulb without removing bumper, you can follow the step by step guide with illustration. Remove wheel arch shield. 6 cross head screws in all. Turn wheels to left and right full lock to access all screws. Leave on full right lock to give more access space. Remove shield over top Tyre. Comes out easily. Light cluster housing and cover retaining clip (push to the right to undo). Having undone the retaining clip remove bulb by sliding towards you. Bulb retaining clip. Squeeze together and unhook from bottom to undo. No need to unhook from top.

Thanks for this advice - it really helps.
The only bother we had was putting the plastic cover back on and the trick here is to put the inside end on top of its retaining spring until you get the locating pins into their holes then slide it outwards to push pins right in then the spring will come over the cover and lock into place.

these bulbs are a pig to replace
the one on the left is easier then the one by the battery compartment
i removed the windscreen washer retaining bolt thats situated on the left side of the
internal frame just to allow more hand space . Also the bulb retaining clip was not fixed so that was also hard to put back but not impossible
simply put the whole operation was an exercise in patience dexterity and more patience

Can’t believe I find this now! Spent two fruitless hours yesterday trying to go in from the top on the drivers side. I can see how this works now - great idea, top tips. thanks very much
