
This document is the part of 2005 Lexus ES330 service manual, engine mechanical section which contain information about: Inspection procedure of Engine Collant, Engine Oil, battery, air cleaner filter element sub-assy, spark plug, V ribbed belt. When checking the ignition timing, the transmission is in the neutral position. When checking the idle speed, the transmission is in the neutral position. Switch OFF all accessories and air conditioning before connecting the hand-held tester or OBD II scan tool. See the table below for possible causes, then inspect the applicable causes and repair them if necessary. Valve Clearance Adjustment Disconnect battery negative terminal, drain engine coolant, remove front fender apron seal RH, remove front suspension upper brace center, remove air cleaner cap sub-assy, remove emission control valve set, remove intake air surge tank, remove radiator hose inlet, remove ignition coil assy.
