Crankshaft pulley and belt cover. Install front belt cover : tightening torque(all bolts for belt cover), install right hand belf cover, install crankshaft pulley. Clean the crankshaft pulley thread using an air gun. Apply engine oil to the crankshaft pulley bolt seat and thread. caution : conduct the tightening procedures by confirming the turning angle of the crankshaft pulley bolt referring to the gauge indicated on the belt cover. Install V-belt air conditioning compressor drive belt tensioner and V-belt cover. cylinder block : check for cracks and damage visually, especially, inspect important parts by means of red lead check. Check the oil passages for clogging. Inspect crankcase surface that mates with cylinder head for warping by using a straight edge, and correct by grinding if necessary. Cylinder and piston. Measurement should be performed at a temperature of 20 degree. If piston ring is broken, damaged, or worn, or if its tension is insufficient, or when the piston is replaced, replace piston ring with a new one of the same size as the piston. Camshaft inspection procedure 1. measure the bend and repair or replace if necessary. Check journal for damage and wear. Replace if faulty. Measure outside diameter of camshaft journal. If the journal diameter is not as specified, check the oil clearance. Diagnostics chart with trouble code.
