How to Check Lubricant. To get an accurate reading, the vehicle should be on a level surface. If the level is below the bottom of the filler plug hole, located on the differential, you will need to add some lubricant. Add enough lubricant to raise the level to the bottom of the filler plug hole. Bulb Replacement For the proper type of replacement bulbs, see Replacement Bulbs on page 5-48. For any bulb changing procedure not listed in this section, contact your dealer. To replace one of these bulbs, do the following: Open the hood. See Hood Release on page 5-11 for more information. Maintenance Schedule. Maintenance intervals, checks, inspections, replacement parts, and recommended fluids and lubricants as prescribed in this manual are necessary to keep your vehicle in good working condition.
