The following instructions will help you to set up Titan MFT Server for clustering/load balancing support. If you need additional assistance the Titan MFT User Guide is available on line. Titan MFT Server is a multi-threaded, dynamic SFTP/FTPS/FTP Server for the Windows operating system. While it is designed to handle an unlimited number of user connections and servers, it is limited by the resources of the machine; most notably, those limitations imposed by the Windows Sockets (WINSOCK) Library. Step by step Installing Titan MFT Server 1. Make sure you have the most recent version of Titan MFT Server. You can use the “Check for Program Update” utility, found in the Titan MFT Program group. 2. Double-click the installation file to start the installation process. NOTE: If you are installing Titan MFT Server on Windows Vista, you must right-click on the installation/setup file and select Run As Administrator. 3. Once the installation process is complete, you will need to restart Windows. Titan MFT Server Clustering/Load Balancing Overview Titan FTP Server, when used in conjunction with an ODBC Database and an Advanced User Authentication Engine, can be scaled to handle an unlimited number of users. Titan includes an option during the New Server Wizard process to create or connect to an existing Clustered Titan Server. To enable SSL/TLS access on this server, select the Enable SSL/TLS access on this server check box and then select either Enable explicit SSL/TLS or Enable implicit SSL/TLS.* Use the drop- down arrow to select a certificate, or click Certificate Management to launch the Certificate Wizard to configure a certificate for this server, or use the “…” browse button to browse to your Certificate Store Folder. When you are finished configuring certificate options, click Next.
