This document describe how to remove and Installing BOSE stereo on 2003 Nissan 350Z, first you need to know the tool requirement such as : Medium slotted screwdriver, and small flat-head screwdriver. If we have everything that’s needed to do the install, ……let’s get started! Oke, let’s read the step by step instruction : By firmly grabbing the gear shift trim ring with your fingers, gently pull up on the back edge of trim panel. This will release the front edge from above the panel. Slowly pull this control panel away from the dash console. Remove two outside screws from the exposed cavity securing the bottom of BOSE stereo mounting bracket. During removal, loosening the ‘white box’ below the car stereo with white ribbon cable, - it is necessary to move this slightly before the final HU removal process. Remove the rubber mat from the bottom of the Navigation cubby hole. Remove the two screws (shown) that hold the Navigation Hatch door closed. Remove the six (6) screws circled here. Note: The innermost screws hold the white plastic box in. We need to remove these screws to loosen that white box. However, the ‘White Box’ does NOT get removed from the console. Now slide the center console a couple of inches (ONLY) towards you. Do NOT move it too far, as you will also need to disconnect the center gauge assembly wiring. The white clip will release itself by pinching it from the front and back.
