Overview The aim of the document is to provide instructions for configuring SAP Proxy Send Ports and Receive Locations.
Send Port Configuration Send Ports can either be configured as Solicit-Response or One-Way. Transactional RFC Send Ports need to be one-way ports, since they do not return any results from a SAP proxy call. Select BizTalk Utilities Adapter for SAP Proxy Transport within the Transport Type drop-down list. Here you select a SAP Destination as defined in the Administration Snap-In. SAP Destinations can also be created from this interface by selecting . • Server Instances Here you specify the number of SAP Server Instances that will be created to listen for inbound RFC Calls. • Archiving Here you specify the BizTalk Schema for the Proxy. Enter the name of the Sql Server that is hosting your BizTalk Server Management Database and the name of your BizTalk Management Database. Alternatively you can accept the defaults provided and click on the Next button. Specify the Size of Message Batches. A Value of 0 switches Batching off. • Autocommit Automatically commits BAPI calls without having to explicitly call BAPI_COMMIT. The property does not apply to Transactional Rfc Calls.
