Remove any burrs from the motor shaft before attempting to mount the hub. Mount the splined hub onto the motor shaft. The hub utilizes an integral key so that no installation or securing of a key is necessary. See Diagram A below for proper positioning of the brake hub on the motor shaft. INSTALLATION: 56/140/180 DBSC/DBEC MODEL, DIAGRAM A: Hub Positioning, Proper installation, maintenance and operation procedures must be observed. The instructions in the instruction manuals must be followed. Inspections should be made as necessary to assure safe operation under prevailing conditions.
