I have a 94 Toyota Tercel. It has been a great car. About a month ago it started having a noise, and since it needed an oil change, I asked if they could find out what the problem was. They told me the screws that hold the heat shield were rusted, but that if I found someone who could weld the heat shield I would stop hearing the noise. I did just that, but the noise continued. It is a clanking noise in the front, so the heat shield idea made sense. So I took it to the local Toyota dealer. They told me it was the struts and shocks and charged me 1,800 to repair! I almost did not pay because I thought getting a new car would be better, but I fixed it. The noise then became worse, I had noise in the front and the back. The dealer took it back and said it was the back strut which they fixed. However the front clanking noise continues. It starts as soon as I hit a pothole or uneven road, and then it keeps going. Please help. What could it be?

I have a 90 Toyota 4Runner, I have replaced Heater control valve, Thermostat, Checked Blend door, And all cables from heater controls are fine, No broken cables, Dont believe its water pump! because i have drove this rig a ways , But flow though the radiator seams weak? And it did’nt over heat! But temp gauge stays in the mid range! And does not move over that mark, Temp control sensor, I am told will not affect the heating of the Rig! Just tells what temp is ? But still have COLD air coming out!! And i have No Heat !!! Still ? Bottom Radiator hose is still cool, And one hose from the Y going into the rig, Through the firewall is cool, Please HELP !! i Dont have a lot of money to throw at this problem, And cant seam to figure out what is wrong ? Again Please Help Your My last chance before going and blowing my money at a Shop!! Thanks BillyZ

1997 toyota 4-runner 239,000 mile. while driving about 60-70 mlsper hr the truck starts to shake. I’ve replaced the rear & foward U joint on drive shaft but it just got worse. axile’s not bent, but right at 65mls and up it starts.
