
Occasionally a customer will inquire if their vehicle’s electronic suspension can be replaced with a non-adjustable
product. The following is a list of vehicles and procedures for replacing adjustable products with non-adjustable products.
A. Buick Park Avenue 1993-96 with CCR C. Cadillac Allante 1989-92 with SDD D. Cadillac Deville 1991-93 with CCR E. Cadillac Eldorado 1991 with CCR Cadillac Eldorado 1992 with SSS (Speed Sensitive Suspension) 1. Remove strut actuators. G. Cadillac Seville 1991 with CCR. H. I. Chevrolet Corvette 1990-96 with ERC (Electronic Ride Control) 1. Remove shock actuators. 2. Unplug ERC module located in rear cargo area. 3. Remove & install shocks per instruction sheet supplied with units. Ford Probe GT 1989-92 with PRC (Programmed Ride Control) K. Ford Thunderbird Super Coupe 1989-96 with PRC (Programmed Ride Control) This system cannot be substituted without extensive vehicle modification. L. Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe 1987-88 with PRC (Programmed Ride Control) 1. Remove strut & shock actuators. 2. Unplug PRC module located in the trunk behind rear seat. 3. Remove & install struts and shocks per instruction sheet supplied with units. Mazda MX6 GT 1988-92 with AAS Mazda RX7 Turbo 1989-90 & Mazda RX7 GXL 1986-88 with AAS (Auto Adjust Suspension). Service Manual for adjustment to the system.
