Troubleshooting Guide Shiftlight does not flash when ignition switched on. Faulty power or earth supply, check the power and earth connections and make sure that they are clean and secured to the correct position. Shiftlight does not respond to buttons being pressed. The engine must be running in order to set the pre-shift and shift points on the shiftlight. The unit requires an input signal (tachometer, coil negative, crank angle sensor)if there is no input signal the unit will not respond whenbuttons pressed.
