It would be easy to dismiss the new MG ZT sedans and ZT-T wagons as just Rover 75s with a name change, but these new models are a whole lot more than that.
Whereas the Rover 75 is aimed at the executive luxury segment, the brief for the MG variants was to deliver a no-compromise sports sedan (and wagon), designed around the driving enthusiast.
MG Rover has successfully separated the two with different styling inside and out, different equipment specifications, different power outputs and an extensive re-working of the suspension and steering.
