The Install Doctor STRONGLY recommends using a snap on “integration” wire harness adapter which will safely and easily allow you to connect a new radio to the existing wires of the Ford amplified radio system.
The “integration” wire harness adapter is designed to allow you to install a new radio into a vehicle with amplifiers in the vehicle without having to rewire the amplifiers or speakers. The new radio is then
“integrated” into the existing amplifiers and speakers. “Integration” wire harnesses can be purchased at car audio installation shops or large retail chains with car audio installation shops.
